Pop machines are on a District
rather than a Building contract, however, schools can remove the machines or
change what is stocked. Ron shared what
is done at the other middle schools. He
will present the information to the staff for a decision. Implementation would take place over the
summer.
Ron reported that the $33,000 bid
for additional lockers is still good. He
is looking into funding - IMS 1/3, PTSA
1/3 including feeder schools and District 1/3.
Would like to install the lockers during the summer.

Eve Martine presented an update on
the 9th Grade Campus. The
Planning Principal and Core Team will be named next spring. The school is expected to open in September
2005. Our current 6th grade
students will be the first class to enter the new school. The District will keep the community informed
as it moves along. Architects are now
working to finish the drawings.
Ron reported on behalf of Sandy Grace that uniforms
for P.E. classes will be required next year.
They will cost approximately $20 and should be available for purchase at
Pre-Registration. Next years 8th
grade students will have a choice of buying their uniform from the school or
purchasing their own.
Ron presented the final copy of the
