V.O.I.C.E. Mentoring Program Coordinator: Susan Gierke (425) 837-7139
The V.O.I.C.E. mentoring program is a volunteer tutoring opportunity. It matches elementary, middle and high school students with community members. The student and their mentors meet at school weekly to work on homework and organization. The students who are referred for the program are often struggling in school and benefit from an adult who will take the time each week to work individually with them. Issaquah Middle school has nearly 20 mentor and students matched, and we are always hoping for more mentors. You may contact Susan Gierke and she will coordinate the match.
